Arriving in France six years ago our first renovation on French soil was a Chateau renovation in the Deux Sevres region of France. We searched for local suppliers for windows and doors and whilst these were available the lead time was long and the cost was high. We were impressed with the approach, quality and competitiveness of a number of European suppliers, after a lengthy analysis and evaluation we purchased windows from two companies, Bois Rois and Optimedia. We were so impressed with the quality of their products and their range of options, colours, finishes, and obviously price we wanted to share these products with you and fellow renovations, professional and DIY’ers. Both these suppliers have currently supplied over 50 Windows & Doors in Timber and Aluminium for our current renovation project, a 13th centure watermill on the banks of the river Couesnon in Brittany.
