Conditions of Sale

PAYMENT TERMS
In order to minimise the cost to you and to benefit from a Direct Factory Price, any purchased made by you are between you and the supplier, Bespoke Brico act solely as “an Agent” between the Parties.

All PVC & Aluminium products are purchased directly via the manufacturer SC OPTIMEDIA SRL

All timber products are purchased directly from BOISROIS (Wooden WIndows Ltd).

All payments are made directly to the respective suppliers.

BANK TRANSFER
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and commence production. The 50% balance must be paid before dispatch. 

Invoices will be issued for both the deposit and and final payment.

Any order for which the deposit has not been paid will be cancelled after 15 calendar days.

Any order for which the final payment has not been received will paid/received within 30 days of the invoice will be canelled with no refunds due.

DELIVERY
Delivery costs will be inclued within the quotation for the respective products.

Delivery times will be advised within each order.

Current manufacturers lead times are :

· 5 weeks for white PVC
· 6 weeks for colored PVC
· 6-7 weeks for timber products
· 9-11 weeks for aluminum

The delivery time takes effect from receipt of payment and/or deposit.

Delivery times are estimates and may be subject to change. No financial compensation will be made for delivery delays.

The manufacturer will endeavour to meet any specific delivery periods, however these are dependent on existing workload and other scheduled deliveries within the same geographical area. 

For areas that are difficult/impossible to access for heavy goods vehicles, the customer must notify the manufacturer before shipping their order. The manufacturer will then choose to send the order on a smaller truck. No compensation will be offered for delivery issues. 

The customer is notified by email and SMS when the goods are shipped. He will then be contacted by the driver one day before delivery.

TRANSPORT AND UNLOADING
Mechanical unloading is not carried out by the carrier, although the driver may assist. It is the buyer’s duty to ensure a sufficient number of people and/or equipment are provided to ensure prompt unloading.

All goods must be chekced on arrival and the elivery note must acknowledge receipt of the goods in good order. If you notice any external damage (scratches, broken glass, etc.), it is imperative to note this on the transport document.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Products ordered via Bespoke Brico are specific to your requirements and therfore no right of withdrawal applies:

PVC windows,  ALU windows, WOOD windows, PVC sliding windows, ALU sliding windows, Fixed PVC frames, Fixed ALU frames, Fixed WOOD frame, PVC French windows, ALU French windows, WOODEN French window, PVC sliding windows, ALU sliding windows, PVC entrance doors, PVC service doors, ALU service doors, ALU entrance doors, WOODEN front door, Other custom products

The above products are considered personalized products. In accordance with Article L 221-28 of the French Commercial Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for contracts for the supply of goods manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

After making the deposit payment, you can neither withdraw nor modify your order.  Minor alterational may be accomodated at the discretion of the manufacturer, if they are requested in time and if they are feasible.

CLAIMS OF NON-COMPLIANCE
Before ordering, it is imperative to carefully check your orderto ensure that it corresponds to your needs (dimensions, colour, etc.). If you have any doubts about the dimensions, do not hesitate to contact us.

No claim of non-conformity will be taken into account if the goods received correspond to the signed purchase order.

Any joinery that does not comply with the purchase order will be replaced if it has not yet been installed. We reserve the right to return non-compliant joinery to the factory before replacing or modifying it.

Claims based on photos of scratches and other visible damage will not be accepted if these show joinery already installed. Photos must be taken before installation. If the procedure is followed, the manufacturer will replace the damaged part (supply only). If a superficial scratch is reported, a correction marker will be sent.

The manufacturer does not provide financial compensation for a construction site delay linked to an after-sales service file.

THE OPTIMEDIA GUARANTEE
The processing of after-sales service requests is handled by the manufacturer SC OPTIMEDIA SRL.

Carpentry: 10 years
Glazing: 10 years
Window hardware: 5 years
Door hardware: 2 years
Roller shutter: 3 years
Accessories: 2 years
The warranty does not cover labour. The manufacturer will not provide financial compensation for labour related to the replacement of a defective window, accessory or part.

A delay of more than 30 days on the part of the customer alone results in loss of the warranty.

EXCEPTIONS TO WARRANTY INSURANCE
The manufacturer is exempt from warranty obligations in the following cases:

Storage in poor conditions
Accidental destruction, unauthorized modifications by the beneficiary or a third party.
If the beneficiary does not mount the sliding rails on an existing, perfectly flat screed.
Destruction and mechanical damage caused by the beneficiary or a third party.
Fires, modifications or inappropriate adaptations.
